The following email is en route to companies and individuals who registered for updates on vaccination timelines:

FROM: IMB Covid Vaccine <Covid.Vaccine@doh.hawaii.gov>

Aloha,

If your employees have been vaccinated or have appointments scheduled, please disregard this message. If you employees have been submitted on a list, please be patient as we process your employee information and send it to providers for scheduling based on the currently prioritized sectors.

As of March 15, 2021, vaccine eligibility was expanded to begin vaccinating Phase 1c essential workers. This expansion triggered changes to the vaccine scheduling process.

As vaccine supplies become more plentiful and we continue to open up the process to new groups daily, please take a moment to review the latest prioritization groups listed on the DOH Website.  When your organization falls into one of the prioritized sectors, we will not be asking you for a list of employees in your organization and instead ask that they self-register. Vaccine providers will continue to prioritize workers in Phase 1a and 1b and those who work in hotels, restaurants, and bars. Providers typically schedule appointments 1-2 weeks in advance due to limited vaccine availability, so staff may either be placed on a wait list or need to check back as more vaccine becomes available. We expect vaccine supply to increase dramatically in April.

Essential workers in Phases 1a and 1b are still being vaccinated as are Phase 1c essential workers starting with employees of hotels, restaurants, and bars. No one has lost the opportunity for vaccination.

If you do not see your specific industry (sector) listed on the site above, please be patient as we continue to accommodate everyone as quickly as possible based on the State of Hawaii guidelines.

We truly appreciate your continued patience as we respond as quickly as possible to thousands of requests, amidst limited vaccine supplies throughout the state.

Mahalo,

HDOH COVID-19 Vaccination Project Support Team
